  • Hello!

Thanks for visiting Jennifer Mossman Photography! I am a natural light photographer in the St. Louis area specializing in maternity, newborn, child, and family photography. I hope that you can see from my work how much I love what I do! My favorite part of being a photographer is meeting new families and seeing the joy that children bring to their lives. Being able to capture that joy is priceless. Thanks for visiting!

There’s nothing I love more than photographing a growing family!  I’ve been photographing this family since Danielle was pregnant with big sister, Teagan.  About 30 minutes into Beckett’s newborn session, I had this deja vu moment. The siblings look so much alike that I felt like I was transported back in time photographing newborn, Teagan. It was wild!! It blew my mind how much they looked alike as newborns..and how did I not realize it until a quarter of the way into the session?! One thing I do know is that Danielle and Ryan are going to have to write on the back of all of their photos if they want to know who is who in the future…lol!  Congrats again, D family!  Thanks for trusting me to capture this special time for you!

I can’t believe that Tyler is already ONE! This year has flown by for this photog…I feel like I just did his newborn photos. He and his parents have been a joy to photograph. Tyler’s expressions are so amazing, and it’s been pretty cool to watch his parents go from newbies to seasoned pros over these months as well! Happy Birthday, Tyler!!!

What a joy it was to photograph newborn baby Luke! I met his momma way back when my oldest son was going to the Little Gym. This was 9 years ago! Lacy was just in college and a teacher at the kid’s gym. Lacy was great with kids even then. She was an excellent instructor! I just can’t believe that this young lady now has a baby of her own. Time sure does fly! It was priceless seeing her in the role of mom. I am so very happy for her and her husband on the birth of their son! Congrats, Blake & Lacy!!

This thoughtful group surprised their parents with updated photos of all of the kids and grandkids! I had a blast with this group. You could tell that they all loved being together and the grandkids were so much fun. Part of the family had come all the way from Texas to spend the holidays with the family. I’m so glad that we could get this session in while they were in town.

There is really nothing like a newborn session. You are coming into a home a stranger in a lot of cases and then you are leaving feeling like part of the family. It is such a raw, emotional time for a family. I feel so honored that my families welcome me into their homes with such trust.  I don’t take that trust lightly as I know that for those few hours, I am in charge of the most precious person in their lives.  I hope that every move I make when I am in their home shows how much care that I have for their new baby.  I have been blessed to be able to photograph this lovely family at some of their most special times. They have become great friends and I always look forward to their sessions. I am so happy and excited for them as they welcome their newest family member…sweet Henry!
